Limestone

Limestone is a sedimentary rock, found in nature around seaside landscapes and bodies of fresh water. Limestone is formed at the bottom of lakes and oceans making it less dense than marble. Limestone is a durable and long-lasting choice for any bathroom and flooring projects. Their soft and natural earth tones of neutral beiges, soft grays, and greens, lend to a comfortable and casual lifestyle. Limestone is a long-lasting and durable stone for shower, vanity top and flooring projects.

Marble

Since ancient times, marble has been the premier building material for many of the world’s most beautiful historic treasures. It’s raw beauty, naturally delicate veining, and colorful patterns create a refined look of timeless elegance. Marble has become a cultural symbol of tradition, creating an atmosphere of sophistication and success. A properly sealed marble is easily maintained and is available in a host of finishes, including: polished, honed, rustic and antique. Marble can pull natural warmth into any room it is used in, and is a superior choice for countertops, floors, foyers and lobbies, fireplace facings and hearths, walls, cladding, and windowsills.

Onyx

Its spectacular beauty and translucency make Onyx a favorite accent stone in interior design. This statement stone is best used for an impressive decorative exclamation. Onyx is formed as a sedimentary stone in caves when mineral deposits build up and stalactites and stalagmites grow together. Onyx is perhaps unsurpassed in beauty because of its translucent, gem-like qualities, and lavish pillowing pattern, which brings a luxurious look to any interior environment. This material is available in a wide variety of neutral to vibrant colors that can be backlit for a more striking appearance.

Quartzite

Quartzite is a hard, non-foliated metamorphic rock in which quartz grains, originally from sandstone, recrystallized. The decorative stone has a unique mosaic appearance and is available in a wide variety of colors ranging from mostly white and gray with hues of pink, red, yellow and orange. The quartzite stone is very low maintenance and heat and scratch resistant, making it an ideal surface for any type of project, including wall cladding, kitchen countertops, and tile flooring.

Travertine

Travertine is a banded, compact variety of limestone formed by mineral springs, particularly where there are waterfalls, and around hot or cold springs. Throughout history, travertine has been used as a building material. The Romans used it to build monuments, temples, aqueducts, and amphitheaters. The Colosseum in Rome, Italy is the largest building in the world constructed of travertine. It is one of the most frequently used stones in modern architecture because of its unique swirl patterns, and neutral white, tan and cream colored varieties. This beautiful natural stone is available in tiles, mosaics, trims and slabs. Travertine is commonly used for paving indoor, as well as outdoor surfaces; and is available in numerous finishes.
